Environmental sustainability at Agriturismo I Moresani - green Cilento

“I Moresani” was founded as a green and sustainable farm, with care for the environment and the wonderful area in which we work at the heart of every decision. It is no coincidence that we have been certified organic for over 15 years and continually strive to adopt practices with a low environmental impact.

In line with this philosophy of sustainability, we have adopted a circular economy model: we produce everything on site to be self-sufficient, reduce waste and monitor and guarantee the quality and safety of our products. We rear cattle, pigs and goats, feeding them with fodder we produce ourselves, and use manure as the main fertiliser for our fields, where we grow various vegetables for our restaurant.

The farm also has a plant-based wastewater treatment system, which uses plants to purify wastewater naturally and sustainably. This year we took an important step towards clean energy: we installed a photovoltaic system, which allows us to use green energy for all farm activities.

We have also made two electric car charging stations available to our guests, each with an 11 kW type 2 socket, suitable for premium vehicles too. Our guests can return from their holidays fully recharged and ready to set off again!
